THE STUDIO CORRESPONDENCE
A monthly letter from the studio
Sent once a month. Kept forever.
A collector's print. A museum dispatch. A personal letter.
Something small gathered along the way.
In the weeks before I left New Jersey, packing slowly, saying goodbyes that never feel quite finished, I kept thinking about distance. Not the miles themselves, but what happens to closeness when you stop sharing the same ordinary days. I kept thinking about letters. About postcards. About the particular feeling of finding something in your letterbox that someone put there thinking of you, from somewhere specific, at a specific moment.
I moved across an ocean. And I brought that idea with me.
This is not a newsletter. It is a piece of mail worth keeping.

THE ARCHIVE NO 0
Where it began. The soft launch edition of The Studio Correspondence, mailed to a small circle before the correspondence opened to the world.
Inside the envelope: a limited edition cyanotype print made from botanicals gathered in Richmond Park, a personal letter, a museum dispatch on Anna Atkins, the woman who printed with sunlight, an illustrated cyanotype how-to card, and a curated playlist card.
Each element was made for this edition alone. The print is not a reproduction. The postmark is real.
The Beginning of the Correspondence
The world is vast and I am glad this found you.
